Michael D. Seagraves, age 70, of Sparta, passed away on February 5, 2024. He was born April 24, 1953, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Gerald and Minnie Rice Seagraves. He retired as an executive chef and was also a member of Bon Air Mountain Community Church.

He is survived by his sister: Linda G. Jones (David) of Sparta; stepson: Robert Blakley (Heather) of Tampa, Florida; granddaughter: Nikota Barber of Beverly Hills, Florida; and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Sandra Freet Seagraves.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from noon until 2 p.m. at the Seagraves Family Cabin.
