Michael Jerome White, age 56, of Rockwood, passed away May 25, 2021. He was born November 27, 1964 to Glen and Roma White. He enjoyed his carpentry career for several years and was a member of the carpenters union and the sheet metal workers union. He worked and traveled across the United States. He loved hunting and fishing. He loved his family and friends dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Cealie and Claude White and Edna and Paul Newcome; and sister: Tena Pillow. Survivors include his wife: Lynn White; children: Jordan (Ty) Burton of Floyd, Virginia, Cody White of Rockwood, and Luke White of Rockwood; granddaughters: Aly Burton and another arriving in August; parents: Roma and Glen White of Rockwood; sister: Gena (Steve) Plumb of Glen Allen, Virginia; brother: Tim (Molly) White of Cumming, Georgia; brother-in-law: Ricky Pillow of Montpelier, Virginia; and buddy dog: Kai “Rudy”. The family will receive friends at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 3 until 5 p.m. eastern with a service to follow. Evans Mortuary in Rockwood is serving the family.
