Michael Lee Howard, age 46, of Rockwood, passed away February 8, 2020. He was born January 10, 1974 in Rockwood to the late Kathy Howard. Michael had worked at Roane Metals Group for several years and most recently was employed at Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, where he assembled water towers. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing and the ocean. Most importantly, Michael loved his family. He was preceded in death by his biological mother: Kathy Howard; and grandparents: Arthur & Savannah Howard. Survivors include his daughters: Haley Howard of Rockwood and Michaela Howard of Rockwood; father: Randall “Dee” Howard (Kendra) of Rockwood; mom: Kaye Howard of Rockwood; grand-daughter: Jaycee Howard of Rockwood; sisters: Sue Francis of Louisville, Janie Howard of Rockwood, and Rebecca Pelfrey (Grady) of Crossville; brothers: David Francis (Trish) of Paris, Tennessee, Gerald Howard (Amy) of Rockwood, Justin McCullough (Kayla) of Okinawa, Japan, Samuel McCullough of Rockwood, and Jakob Howard of Rockwood; and step-parents: Roy & Carolyn Francis. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Westel Baptist Church. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of arrangements.
