A former Rhea County school bus driver was sentenced in court yesterday for an incident that endangered several children. Back in November, officers were notified that 58-year-old Michael Ledbetter of Dayton was operating the bus and driving erratically. Deputies stopped Ledbetter who failed a sobriety test. In court yesterday, Ledbetter took a plea deal, saying he was guilty to DUI and reckless endangerment. Ledbetter will serve 30 days in jail, the minimum under state law, and another 18 months of probation. His two sentences will be served concurrently.
