MISS VICKIE’S SPICY DILL PICKLE CHIPS RECALLED FOR UNDECLARED MILK

Frito-Lay has issued a voluntary recall for select 8 oz. bags of Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle Potato Chips due to the potential presence of undeclared milk from jalapeño-flavored chips that may have been mistakenly included. This poses a serious risk of allergic reactions or life-threatening issues for individuals with milk allergies or severe sensitivities, though the product remains safe for those without such concerns.

The recall affects bags distributed starting as early as January 15, 2026, to various retailers—including grocery, convenience, drug stores, and some local digital outlets. No other Miss Vickie’s products, sizes, flavors, or items in variety packs are included.

The affected bags carry the UPC 0 28400 761772 on the back and must feature both a “Guaranteed Fresh” date of 21 APR 2026 and one of the specified 9-digit manufacturing codes (38U301414 or 48U101514) printed along the right side on the front.

The issue was discovered after a consumer report, and no allergic reactions have been reported so far. Frito-Lay has notified the FDA, which will classify the recall later, though consumer guidance is not expected to change. Anyone with the recalled product should discard it immediately if they have a milk allergy or sensitivity. For questions or concerns, consumers can visit the Miss Vickie’s Contact Us page or call 1-877-984-2543 (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. CST).
