The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says a missing 11-year-old girl was found safe early this morning in Hamilton County near Chattanooga.

Aubriauna “Bree” Mays was found with a man.

Officers say he did not comply with orders and ran over three of the detectives with his vehicle.

Law enforcement shot at the man.

The suspect was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The sheriff’s office says the three detectives were treated for injuries.

Authorities are not releasing the suspect’s name or their relation to Aubriauna.

The incident is being investigated by the TBI.
