MISSING 5-YEAR-OLD LOCATED SAFE IN MORGAN COUNTY

Morgan County, TN- On Wednesday evening, officials from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a missing 5-year-old male in the Kring Hollow area of Morgan County. Sheriff Wayne Potter and investigators called for a quick response for assistance and were immediately met by officials from the Tennessee Department of Corrections K9 Team, Morgan County Rescue Squad, Morgan County EMA, Plateau Water, sheriff’s deputies, and neighbors.
Morgan County Sheriff Wayne Potter said, “We received the prayerful outcome we had asked for. He is safe. There are no finer First Responders and emergency folks anywhere in Tennessee other than right here in Morgan County. We are blessed to have a team of dedicated professionals who drop what they are doing to respond to people in need during an emergency. They have proved it time and time again. We work seamlessly with TDOC and Warden Parris, Chief Noe and the squad, EMA Director Webb, and Plateau Water who pumped a pool during the search. I appreciate my hardworking men and women at our office and we are thankful to be able to work together in times of crisis with these fine servants. Everyone is appreciated.”
