Last night, Monterey police followed up on leads a 13-year-old female runaway from Wisconsin was possibly in their area. While checking a residence, officers discovered that they had just missed the juvenile, 13-year-old Klara Ann Homann, leaving on foot with another male. Police quickly covered the area and eventually located Homann alone near the wood line behind the Monterey Library. Homann was detained and transported to the Putnam County Juvenile Detention Center.
