Sparta, TN-  A 9-month-old Kangaroo has been reported missing from White County.

Beau is a family pet and stands at about 2 1/2 feet tall. He was last seen when he got out of his residence off Blue Springs Road on March 30th.

If you see him, you’re asked not to chase him, because he will likely run away. It is best to contact the owner at 931-254-3528.

It is legal to own a kangaroo in Tennessee and it doesn’t require a permit.
