Jared Keller, a 31-year-old white male with mental health issues, reported missing on July 9, 2025, from Tellico Plains, Tennessee, has been safely located in Alabama. His 2018 Silver Ford Explorer was found earlier by Alabama State Troopers in Birmingham.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the University of Alabama Police Department, Alabama Highway Patrol, and Birmingham Police Department, successfully located Keller.

The Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude for the public’s help and reaffirmed their commitment to serving Monroe County residents.
