Monday is looking good once again with partly sunny skies and the high temperature close to 50 degrees. Some rain will move through Monday night and early Tuesday morning but it’s a fast-moving system so I think we will get back to Some Sunshine by Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday is looking good but by Friday and Saturday another big rain system is coming with several inches to soak us down again, it will be warmer with highs above 60 degrees. We will have continued above normal temperatures and precipitation through January 19th. December finished 2 inches above normal on rainfall and 6 degrees above normal on temperatures, it was the seventh warmest December on record. The weather system at the end of the week is a big one and could bring severe thunderstorms to Mississippi and Alabama and possibly Southern Tennessee as well as heavy rain across all of Tennessee.
