MONDAY’S 5-DAY FORECAST

A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of our area through Monday evening. There could be a few snowflakes flying north of I-40 and on the higher elevations of the Plateau Monday night – but no accumulation is expected.

Monday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 5pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. High near 60. East southeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Monday Night: Rain and snow showers likely before 3am, then a chance of snow showers between 3am and 5am. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. West wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 29. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Valentine’s Day: Sunny, with a high near 54. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming south southwest in the morning.

Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 34. South southwest wind around 5 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 58. West southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 56.

Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.
