NASCAR is leaving Las Vegas.

They announced Wednesday the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Awards will be held December 5 at the Music City Center in Nashville.

NASCAR will also shift the date of its Xfinity Series Awards and trucks series awards to November 22; the home tracks champions awards will be November 23, but it’ll still be in Charlotte at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Executive Vice President and General Manager of Bristol Motor Speedway Jerry Caldwell released a statement saying the birthplace of country music in Bristol joined Tennesseans in welcoming the awards to the Volunteer State. Caldwell said Nashville never misses a beat hosting high-profile events, and race fans will want to join NASCAR stars in Music City to wrap up the season.
