No big changes in our weather pattern through Thursday with showers and thunderstorms off and on and many of them will be quite heavy. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Big storms on Monday blew down a few trees in Bledsoe, McMinn and Loudon County. Big storms also hit Pickett, Jackson and Clay counties. Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning strikes was also a big feature of many of the storms which is typical for summer.
