Bradley County firefighters responded to a structure blaze yesterday on North Brook Drive NE.

Officials say it started in the kitchen of the home.

As firefighters were extinguishing the blaze, secondary crews searched the dwelling and found a 93-year-old woman and her 68-year-old daughter inside.

Both were taken to a hospital, where they both passed away.

The names of the women have not yet been released until family members are notified.
