MUCH COOLER ON THE WAY
The effects on our weather from Hurricane Sally will be as follows. A few scattered showers will be possible through Thursday, it will be Breezy With the Wind from the Northeast at 10 to 20 miles per hour during the day and cooler air will move in for the weekend with high temperatures only around 72 and lows around 47. Certainly the effects from Sally could have been much worse as the Hurricane Center was predicting we would get two to four inches of rain but Sally made a quicker turn to the Northeast than expected and is pounding Alabama and Georgia with intense rainfall. Autumn begins next Tuesday so the cooler air is coming in right on schedule.
