MULTI-AGENCY SWEEP NETS 12 ON VARIOUS DRUG CHARGES IN FRANKLIN COUNTY

Special Agents with the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation were part of this week’s multi-agency roundup in Franklin County that resulted in the arrest of 12 people on a variety of drug-related charges.

On January 7th, the Franklin County Grand Jury returned indictments charging multiple people with counts stemming from incidents dating from 2017 through 2018. This week, TBI agents joined law-enforcement officers with the Middle Tennessee Appalachia High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, the Winchester Police Department and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department in finding and arresting the twelve, who include:

*Brandon Joe Padget, age 22, of Winchester: manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II, possession of Schedule II with intent.

*Jason Ray Clark, age 37, of Winchester: sale of Schedule II, possession of Schedule II, two counts of possession of Schedule II with intent, two counts of manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II.

*Steve Wayne Francis, age 61, of, Decherd: manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule IV, possession of Schedule IV.

*Jason R. Hunt, age 36, of Decherd: manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II, possession of Schedule II with intent.

*Justin Ray George, age 34, of Decherd. two counts manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule III, two counts possession of Schedule III.

*Mary Jane Yates, age 28, of Estill Springs: possession of Schedule III, manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule III.

*Timothy Campbell, age 29, of Winchester: manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II, possession of Schedule II.

*Ruth A. Crain, age 58, of Winchester: manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule IV, simple possession, manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II, simple possession or casual exchange.

*Chadwick Michael Baker, age 35, of  Belvidere: manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II, possession of Schedule II with intent.

*Adam Gifford, age 27, of Belvidere: two counts manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II, two counts possession of Schedule II.

*Matthew Christopher Roden, age 39, of Estill Springs: manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II, possession of Schedule II with intent, manufacture/sale/delivery of Schedule II, possession of Schedule II with intent.

*Laquisha Reshawn Calleja, age 37, of Tullahoma. sale or delivery of Schedule II, possession of Schedule II with intent.

All twelve were booked into the Franklin County Jail. Additional arrests are expected.
