MULTI-VEHICLE WRECK AFFECTING CONGESTION AT THE SPLIT
The TDOT Smart Ways map is showing congestion at three points near Knoxville where I-40 and I-75 meet including a multi-vehicle crash at mile marker 371.4 occurring at 3:19 p.m. which has resulted in the Eastbound shoulder being blocked.
The notifications on TDOT Smart Ways read:
“Interstate 40 Eastbound in Knox – Multi-Vehicle Crash at MILE MARKER 371.4 reported at 3:19 PM 11/8/2024 (Central Time Zone). Eastbound Shoulder Blocked.”
“Interstate 75 Northbound in Loudon – Congestion at MILE MARKER 81 reported at 1:50 PM 11/8/2024 (Central Time Zone). Northbound No Lanes Blocked.”
“Interstate 40 Eastbound in Loudon – Congestion at MILE MARKER 366 reported at 1:43 PM 11/8/2024 (Central Time Zone). Eastbound No Lanes Blocked.”
