MULTIPLE SUSPECTS CHARGED AFTER 60-POUND TENNESSEE TEEN DIES OF STARVATION

Law enforcement says seven adults in a Bartlett, Tennessee (next to Memphis) home were indicted in first-degree murder charges after one of ten children in the dwelling died of starvation. The actual incident took place last year.

Terra Wells, Tessa Dishmon, Tamera Dishmon, Amanda Dishmon, Tabitha Sharp, Breanna Wells and Melvis Wells were all charged with murder in the perpetration of aggravated child abuse and neglect. Each is currently being held on a $250,000 bond.

Court documents state officers were called to a home on Skylight Drive in Bartlett and found 14-year-old Brandon Gray unresponsive on the floor. At the time of his death, an autopsy revealed Gray was 60 pounds and died of starvation.

Another child, age 12, was taken from the residence to the hospital. Authorities did not reveal where the other children were taken to once removed from the residence.
