Naomi Judd passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022. She was 76 years old. Naomi is known for being an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She has two daughters. Wynonna and Ashley Judd. Wynonna and her mother formed the country group, The Judds, and were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame the day after Naomi’s death. Ashley Judd is a famous actress who played in a list of movies such as “Double Jeopardy”. 

The sisters took to social media following their mother’s death stating “Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory.”

Wynonna also said “It’s a strange dynamic to be this broken and this blessed…But though my heart is broken, I will continue to sing,”
