Nathan Clyde Howard, age 82, was born May 27, 1939 to Clyde and Ina Ellis Howard in Crab Orchard. He passed away peacefully June 24, 2021 in Crossville. Nathan was a stone mason for many years. He installed stone, as well as granite and marble for mausoleums all over the USA. He served his country in the Army from 1957 to 1963 and was active during the Cuban missile crisis. No matter where Nathan went, his home was always in Crossville. He loved playing pool and watching boxing. Nathan will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sons: Eric (Cinella) Howard, Perry Howard, and Michael Howard; grandchildren: Chris Howard, Tyler Howard, Dustin Howard, Dillon Howard, Natosha Howard, and Thomas Howard; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister: Joy Rose.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Sue Howard; son: David Howard; sister: Betty Kington (Paul); and brother-in-law: Boyd Rose.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 1, 2021 from noon until 2 p.m. central at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial services for Nathan will also be held following visitation. Obituary by Crossville Memorial Funeral Home.
