Work on a splash pad and pavilion in downtown Lenoir City is progressing with a projected completion sometime in May. The project will cost about $1 million. Back in 2018, the city was awarded a $500,000 Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation matching grant. The other part of the cost comes from city funds and community donations.
