(BREAKING NEWS) – At the request of Attorney General Russell Johnson, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation responded to a Lenoir City address following an officer involved shooting.

At approximately 9:39 am eastern this morning, deputies attempted to serve civil process paperwork at an address off of Waller Street when a female reportedly produced a firearm. During the encounter, shots were fired. Law enforcement was not injured and the woman died at the scene.
