A Hamilton County school bus was involved in a hit-and-run crash on the way to pick up East Hamilton students this afternoon.

Hamilton County spokesman Tim Hensley said the bus was rear-ended at the intersection of Gadd Road and Highway 153 by a car that left the scene.

No students were on the bus, and the bus driver was uninjured.

This marks the third crash involving at a Hamilton County school bus this week.
