NORTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR ISSUES STAY AT HOME ORDER
North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper today ordered North Carolina residents statewide to stay at home starting at 5 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2020. The order also bans gatherings of 10 or more people. Cooper called it “truly a matter of life or death.” The stay-at-home order will last 30 days and end April 29, 2020. In North Carolina, there are more than 800 cases of COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus, in two-thirds of the state’s counties. Four people have died in North Carolina so far from COVID-19.
