OAK RIDGE MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED 1ST-DEGREE MURDER
In Oak Ridge, Tennessee, the Oak Ridge Police Department has charged 34-year-old Jacob Yugo with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence following an assault on Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to a call around 4 p.m. on East Newkirk Lane, where they found a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries, who was immediately transported to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition.
Yugo was taken into custody and is being held at the Anderson County Detention Facility. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to contact them at (865) 425-4399.
