OAK RIDGE MAN TRIES TO BRAKE CHECK A COP; IT DOESN’T END WELL

In Knoxville, Tennessee, Kevin Webb, an Oak Ridge resident, was arrested for reckless driving on Pellissippi Parkway late Monday night around 11:36 p.m. after a dangerous encounter with law enforcement. According to the arrest report filed by Officer L. Sanchez, Webb was driving at high speed and repeatedly engaged and disengaged his parking brake, nearly causing multiple collisions with a marked patrol car.

Despite continuing this risky behavior as both vehicles traveled northbound, Officer Sanchez eventually activated emergency equipment and pulled Webb over. Webb admitted to intentionally using his parking brake to get the car behind him to back off due to its headlights, leading to his arrest.
