OLIVER SPRINGS HONORS JAMES BRUMMETT WITH STREET NAMING CEREMONY

BBBTV12 – On Tuesday morning, a special ceremony took place in Oliver Springs to honor the late James Brummett, a former Roane County Commissioner, City Alderman, and respected businessman. The event marked the official unveiling and placement of a street sign near the new school, now named “Brummett Foundation Way,” in his honor.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Senator Ken Yager, Oliver Springs Mayor Jason Stiltner, Roane County Schools Director Russell Jenkins, and County Commissioner Lance Duff. Family members of James Brummett, along with other invited guests, gathered to pay tribute to his legacy of community service and dedication to the town.
