OLIVER SPRINGS: HIT-AND-RUN SUSPECT IDENTIFIED

The Oliver Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help trying to identify a suspect wanted in a hit-and-run that occurred earlier this morning.
The crash happened in the 600 Block of Kingston Avenue at approximately 8:24 AM. A dark purple/brown Jeep or possibly Jeep Grand Cherokee with a squared-off body style came from the Old Harriman Hwy area and fled back towards the Old Harriman Hwy after the crash.
The driver is possibly a late teen to mid-20s with dark hair and was wearing a Carhartt jacket. They were accompanied by a passenger.
The Jeep is reported to of had duct tape around the headlight.
UPDATE: The suspect and vehicle have been identified. This is all the information we are given at this time, as the subject may or may not be a minor.
