OVER 1.8 MILLION NINJA PRESSURE COOKERS RECALLED; 106 INJURED

SharkNinja is recalling approximately 1,846,400 Ninja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cookers (plus 184,240 sold in Canada) due to a hazard where the pressure-cooking lid can be opened during use, allowing hot contents to escape and posing a burn injury risk.

The recall, announced on May 1, 2025, includes models OP300, OP301, OP301A, OP302, OP302BRN, OP302HCN, OP302HAQ, OP302HW, OP302HB, OP305, OP350CO, and replacement lids, identifiable by “Ninja” branding and model numbers on the unit.

Consumers should immediately stop using the pressure-cooking function and contact SharkNinja at 888-370-1733 or online at https://www.rqa-inc.com/client/SharkNinja/ for a free replacement lid, though other functions like air frying remain safe to use.

SharkNinja has reported 106 burn injuries, including over 50 second- or third-degree burns and 26 lawsuits.

The cookers, manufactured in China and imported by SharkNinja Operating LLC, were sold at major retailers like Walmart, Costco, Amazon, and Target, both in-store and online, from January 2019 to March 2025 for about $200.
