OVERTON JANE DOE IDENTIFIED; SUSPECT ARRESTED

In a tragic incident in Overton County, Tennessee, a woman’s body, later identified as Hope Parrott, was found burning inside a refrigerator on Sunken Cane Road in the Crawford Community around 1:00 AM on July 31, 2025. Discovered by a passerby, the body was severely damaged by fire, initially making identification impossible.

The Medical Examiner’s Office determined the victim was a female, approximately 5’ to 5’4” tall, weighing 110 to 140 pounds, with brown hair, and wearing a white metal necklace, bracelet, tongue piercing, and nose ring. At the time, no missing persons reports aligned with the case, but it was later revealed that Hope Parrott, from the Cookeville or Livingston area, had been reported missing.

Hope was last seen on July 30, 2025, after allegedly leaving with an unknown individual in an unknown truck following a breakup with Edward Randolph, leaving behind her belongings, including her medications and phone. Authorities have since arrested Edward Randolph, who knew Hope, charging him with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.

Support is requested for Hope Parrott’s loved ones during this difficult time.
