OVERTURNED SEMI CONTINUES TO KEEP I-40 WESTBOUND CLOSED

Cumberland County –  In the early hours of Thursday morning, (4:00 AM) an overturned semi-truck closed down the Westbound lanes of I-40 at mile marker 334. As of 10:00 AM, emergency crews are continuing the clean up to get traffic flowing back to normal.  Traffic has been backed up as far as mile marker 345.  Motorists are using the Westel Road exit at 338 to St Rt 70 then west to Crab Orchard.  Follow the stations of 3B Media as additional updates become available.
