This morning, Roane County deputies responded to a home on Fairview Circle in Oliver Springs, for a report of a man “trying to fight people.”

The resident said her grandson, 23-year-old Brian Austin Cannon, had been staying at the home with his girlfriend, 35-year-old Amanda Lee Silcox; Cannon was being verbally abusive and was threatening her. He was also abusive to his mother, whereupon the grandmother told him to pack his things and leave.

Silcox was found in a bathroom; a check revealed she had five active juvenile attachments for her arrest in Anderson County and one in Knox County. She was also issued a notice of criminal trespass and placed on a court hold.

Cannon was charged with domestic assault.

Both were booked into the Roane County Detention Facility.
