PATRICIA A. MCNEELEY, AGE 86

Patricia A. McNeeley, age 86, of Cookeville, passed away January 21, 2021.  She was born October 13, 1934 in Whipple, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Floyd A. and Mary Merritt. She was a devoted wife serving along with her husband Vertie W. McNeeley in the ministry with the Pentecostal Church of God.  In 2017 she was the recipient of the Vessel of Honor Award from the Pentecostal Church of God.  She served as a missionary to Okinawa along with her husband and was a supportive wife and mother while her husband was in the military. She is survived by her children: Kathy McNeeley of Cookeville, Terri La’Gere of Cookeville, Steve McNeeley of Crossville, and Tabitha McNeeley of Cookeville; grandchildren: Jonathan McNeeley, Jaime Grainger, Lee Eddings, Ashley Brown, Amber Varney, Brandon Kerley and Blake Bowman; and great-grandchildren: Lorin McNeeley, Cashas Grainger, Josey Grainger, Pepper Grainger, Tayslee Eddings, Halsee Eddings, Talon Kerley and Chase Kerley. Funeral services will be held at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville Tuesday, January 26, 2021.  Visitation is 11 a.m. central with the service at noon. In lieu of flowers donations can be given to the World Missions Department of Crossville Community Church c/o Kathy McNeeley 1706 Tyler Dr. Cookeville, TN 38501.
