Phyllis Rose Hall, 86, passed away on March 16, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born on January 15, 1939, in Ironton, Ohio.

 Phyllis was a woman of warmth and generosity, known for her selfless and nurturing nature. Her kindness and devotion touched the lives of many, and her gregarious spirit made her a joy to be around. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Leon Hall; her children, Jerry Brownstead, Christy Stacey, Bruce Hall, Phillip Hall, and Destiny Hall; as well as her sisters, Carol McKnight and Judy Wolfer. 

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gertrude Holston; her brothers Curtis Holston (and his wife Joyce), Bill Holston (and his wife Kaye), Larry Holston (and his wife Jhonda), and Richard Holston; and her brother-in-law Dan Wolfer. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday March 24, 2025, at Hood Funeral Home, located at 2371 US-127 in Crossville, Tennessee at 3pm. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2pm-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Phyllis’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
