A joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Pikeville Police Department has led to the arrest of 50-year-old Andy Bickford following allegations of a multi-day kidnapping and assault.

Authorities began investigating the incident on Friday at the request of 12th Judicial District Attorney General Courtney Lynch. Investigators determined that the alleged crimes took place at a residence in the 100 block of Southgate Lane, where Bickford reportedly assaulted a victim and held her against her will for several days.

Bickford was taken into custody on Friday night and booked into the Bledsoe County Jail. He faces charges of:
