Putnam County, Georgia Sheriff Howard Sills says five members of a family died in a plane crash yesterday.

The victims include:

Pilot and owner of the plane Larry Pruitt, age 67, of Morristown, Florida

Shaun Charles Lamont, age 41, of Gainesville, Florida

Jody Rae Lamont, age 43, of Gainesville, Florida

Jayce Lamont, age 6, of Gainesville, Florida

Alice Lamont, age 4, of Gainesville, Florida

They were flying from Williston, Florida to New Castle, Indiana to attend a funeral. He says that one of the engines was found several miles from the main crash site. The FAA will be investigating the crash site today.

Putnam County, Georgia in the middle part of the state southeast of Atlanta and north-northeast of Macon.
