POLICE SHUT DOWN NARCOTICS OPERATION IN PIKEVILLE TOWN HOMES
Pikeville, Tennessee – Members of the Pikeville Police Department recently received
information about illegal narcotics being sold from apartment 160 in the Pikeville Town Homes.
With the help of the 12th Judicial District Drug and Violent Crime Taskforce, a thorough
investigation was conducted over the course of several months.
As a result of the investigation, Trae Beasley was identified and charged with a Class B Felony
for conspiracy to distribute Schedule 2 Narcotics. During the arrest of Mr. Beasley, officers
discovered Schedule 2 Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Additionally, two other individuals inside the apartment were arrested for criminal trespass,
possession of drug paraphernalia, and destruction of evidence.
The Pikeville Police Department would like to extend their gratitude to the 12th Judicial District
Drug and Violent Crime Taskforce for their invaluable assistance in this case. Through the
partnership and collaboration efforts of both agencies, the streets of Pikeville are now a bit
safer.
