Maryville, TN-  HWY 129/Calderwood HWY is barricaded and not accessible to motorists from the North Carolina state line to mile marker 11 in Tennessee due to a brush fire off “The Dragon”. A motorcycle wreck occurred Sunday causing a brush fire that spread close to the lanes on the highway. The fire spread to about 30 acres. Blount County Sheriff’s Office asks you to please find an alternate route.
