PROGRESS MADE ON BLEDSOE T.C.A.T. CAMPUS

From TCAT:
🚧✨ Exciting things are happening in Bledsoe County! ✨🚧
The TCAT–Bledsoe Campus is coming right along — walls are going up, and the vision is becoming reality! What once started as a few people asking if there was ever a chance for Bledsoe County to have a TCAT facility has now grown into something incredible.
On Tuesday, October 2, we officially broke ground on the 14,000-square-foot Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT–Bledsoe) campus, located on US Highway 127 Bypass across from Subway in Pikeville.
At the groundbreaking, President Cliff Wightman of TCAT Upper Cumberland shared how Bledsoe County High School CTE Principal Steve Reel and Mayor Gregg Ridley were instrumental in pushing this dream forward.
Chancellor Flora Tidings also reminded us that this project has been a long time coming. Even during her time as Chancellor at Chattanooga State, conversations about the need for a TCAT in Bledsoe County were already underway.
The mission of the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) is simple yet powerful: Student Success and Workforce Development. That mission is now taking shape right here in Bledsoe County — and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎉
Stay tuned as we continue to share the progress of this incredible project that will impact students, families, and our entire community for generations to come. 💛
