PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED FOR PROPOSED HAZARDOUS-WASTE MANAGEMENT PERMIT
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation will hold a public hearing April 23 to collect comments on the proposed hazardous waste management permit for American Zinc Recycling (AZR), for its facility in Rockwood. The hearing will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at the Rockwood Community Center, 710 N Chamberlain, Rockwood.
Arrive early for an information session, starting at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the draft permit with TDEC and AZR. For further information see the public notice in Friday’s edition of the Roane County News or call the Division of Solid Waste Management in Nashville at (615) 532-0821.
