Putnam County, TN – At approximately 5:50 A.M., Putnam County Fire Department was dispatched to a reported garage fire on High Flats Road in far eastern Putnam County. While crews were responding, it was reported the fire had spread to the residence.
Upon arrival of crews, a 2 bay garage approximately 20’x30’ was found to be fully involved with roof collapse. Crews were able to stop the fire from involving the house but it did sustain some damage to the siding.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental in nature and no injuries were reported; sadly the owners did lose some pets in the fire. Crews were on scene approximately an hour and a half.
