Putnam County, TN- In March 2022, Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the office lobby to meet with Daphine Roberts in reference to her finding potential explicit photographs of minors on her boyfriend’s phone. Detective Brian Haworth was notified after the report was taken and began his investigation. During his investigation, Mark Allen Jones, the former boyfriend of Roberts, was found to be in possession of explicit photographs across multiple phones, several of which appeared to be of underage individuals and several of those to be confirmed that of minors. On January 30, 2023, Detective Brian Haworth received a True Bill from the Putnam County Criminal Court Grand Jury for Mark Allen Jones.

On February 1, 2023, Jones was arrested by Deputy Duncan who served the indictment on Jones for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Jones has a bond set at $40,000 and a court date set for March 20, 2023.
