RAIN AND COOL TUESDAY

Rain and cool are the words for Tuesday, not the words I wanted to use but sometimes you just have to tell it like it is. I think the high temperature will only be in the 40s and the Northeast wind at 15 miles per hour and while it is not very meteorological all I can say is YUCK! Wednesday is looking partly sunny but here comes some more bad news, Scattered Frost may be possible Wednesday night so keep those flowers and plants in mind. Thursday and Friday looking like the best days of the week with sunshine and in the 60s. For our friends in Rhea County,The National Weather Service has completed a damage survey of two distinct locations in Rhea County Tennessee from the early morning March 29, 2020 thunderstorm event.

The survey found damage consistent with strong straight line
winds around Spring City. Wind speeds were estimated in the 60-70
MPH range resulting in downed trees, some of which had fallen on
small structures. The survey found damage consistent with a strong microburst near
Ewing Road in northeast Rhea County. Wind speeds were estimated in
the 80-90 MPH range resulting in a large area of divergent fallen
trees, some of which had fallen on small structures.
