RAIN, THUNDERSTORMS, AND A SHOT AT SEVERE WEATHER

From spotty showers today to a stormy Sunday and soggy Monday, expect gusty winds, heavy rain, and a few severe storms before cooler, calmer weather returns midweek.

Today: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 71. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight: Showers likely, mainly between 1am and 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Sunday: Showers before 1pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 1pm and 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. High near 70. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 1am. Some of the storms could be severe. Low around 58. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Monday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1pm and 4pm, then a chance of showers after 4pm. Some of the storms could be severe. High near 66. South southwest wind around 10 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
