After the rain system tonight,   clearing will come Monday afternoon. Frost is expected Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning with low to mid 30s. We start a warming Trend Wednesday with sunshine and 68 degrees. Wednesday night there is a slight chance of a shower and that is probably the only rain we will get this week. A major warming Trend comes on Friday and Saturday with sunshine and close to 80 degrees, very nice for the lawn and garden show and the car show in Crossville

April 16th 1998 the only F5 tornado ever recorded in Tennessee touched down in Lawrence County but mostly stayed over rural areas with 20 injuries but no deaths reported. On that same day an F3 hit downtown Nashville with one fatality and 60 injuries
