RAIN TOTALS
All of the rain gauges have reported today for the big storm that just rolled through Tennessee and the totals are impressive. Areas near Memphis picked up the most rain with near 6 inches, Cumberland and surrounding counties picked up about 2 to 4 inches of rainfall. We receive 2.89 in the city of Crossville with 3.14 reported in Lake Tansi. The peak wind gust in Crossville on Saturday was 35 miles per hour but there were numerous gusts over 50 in middle and West Tennessee closer to the remains of tropical storm Olga which passed right over West Tennessee. We have two pretty days ahead with Monday and Tuesday seeing sunshine and 70 degrees. Another big rain system is coming for Wednesday and Thursday so Halloween is looking like a washout.
