Funeral Services for Raymond L. Whittaker, age 79, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home.

Rev. Tim Beaty will officiate with interment to follow in the Whittaker Cemetery.

Mr. Whittaker was born on Monday, April 19, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Robert Washington Whittaker and Dovie Padgett Whittaker.

Mr. Whittaker passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Whittaker worked many years as a farmer. He worked with Clarence Tays, Tommy Burks, Jack Ray, and the Bank of Putnam County. He was Pentecostal in faith.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Phillips Whittaker of Monterey, TN

Grandchildren, Jacob Whittaker, Michael Thomas Hargis, Sara Harris, Debora Martinez, Charlie Harris, and Gaila Gore

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Hargis; Brothers, Donald, Jefferson, Robert, and Ray Whittaker; and Sisters, Nellie Mannis, Sarah Jane Hope, and Marla Faye Gentry.

The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 12:00 PM until the time of services at 2:00 PM.
