On Saturday, Cumberland County Deputies were dispatched to a residence off Plateau Road for an unknown male on the front porch who was yelling and hitting the front door with his hands and forehead. When officers arrived, they made contact with the male and placed him in handcuffs due to his erratic behavior and incoherent speech. He also was not wearing any shoes.

When the officer made contact with the homeowner, she stated she had no idea who the male was and did not know why he would be at her home.

The male was identified as Jack Lovell of Sparta. The 35-year-old was charged with Public Intoxication.
