Rebecca Joanne Clark Galyon, age 88, of Kingston, passed away November 11, 2020 at Roane Medical Center surrounded by her children. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on April 21, 1932, the oldest of 7 siblings. She married Clarence E. Galyon Sr. of Paint Rock community while he was stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio. She was active in her church, retired from the Corps of Engineers and retired from the volunteers at Roane Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence; her parents;1 sister; 3 brothers; and 1 granddaughter. She is survived by Sharon Galyon Weathersby of Houston, Texas, Margaret Galyon Adkisson (Woody) of LaVergne, Tennessee, Gail Galyon Nuntasiri (Kie) of Smyrna, Tennessee, C. Emmit Galyon Jr. (Michelle) of the Paint Rock community, and Nora Galyon Hightower (Mark) of Oliver Springs; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters in Ohio; and lots of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2020 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in the Paint Rock Community. The funeral will follow.
